General Terms and Conditions

The general terms and conditions for Karlshagen’s campsite base on:

  • the price list
  • the terms of payment
  • the campsite rules and regulations
  • the BGB (German Civil Code)

Reservations:
Reservations made are based on written or telephone enquiries and are regarded as binding as soon as the deposit amount stated in the booking confirmation has been credited to the named account.

Payment of the outstanding amount:
Payment of the final amount (in cash or by EC-card) is to be made on arrival whilst registering for the entire period of planned stay.

Cancellations:
If cancellations are made, 20 % of the deposit will be kept by the campsite, if the cancellation is later than 2 weeks before the planned arrival date, 40 % will be kept.

Time of arrival:
You can arrive at the campsite from 12 p.m. onwards. However, please respect the midday period of quiet between 1 and 3 p.m.

Time of departure: The pitch must be left clean and tidy by 11 a.m. Delayed departures must be agreed to by reception. Generally, there is no reimbursement of costs due to an early departure. This also applies in the case of eviction if the campsites rules and regulations have been broken. However, it does not apply if you have a doctor’s note. In such a case, campers must fill out a cancellation form at reception.

Visitors:
Only the registered number of people is allowed to be on the campsite at any time. Visitors are only allowed access to the campsite after registering at reception.

Insurance:
The “Eigenbetrieb Karlshagen”, as campsite operator, is not liable for damages to the installations on the pitches or the motor vehicles.

Other:
The campsite administration reserves the right to change the allocation of pitches if there are specific reasons.

Enquiries:
Information that is given over the phone by our employees is non-binding and must be confirmed in writing.

Liability:
Every visitor is committed to treat the pitch’s equipment with care. He/she is committed to replace/repair the damages made by him/her, his accompanying party or guests during his stay.

Changes to prices:
We reserve the right to change any of the given prices or pieces of information.

Place of fulfilment and place of jurisdiction is the district court in Wolgast
